How much will student housing cost?
One Bedroom Apartments:
- Are paid for monthly.
- Require a security deposit equal to one month's rent.
- Year lease with summer rental is required.
- For gas heat included, add $150 per month. (Otherwise you pay heating costs)
- A additional $15 monthly rent is required per person to cover snow removal, garbage removal, and lawn care.

Apartments with Two Bedrooms or More:
- Are paid for by the semester.
- Require a $500 security deposit per person.
- Year lease with with summer rental is required. Each person pays one payment of $500 which covers the entire summer.
- For gas heat included, add $400/semester per person. (Otherwise you pay heating costs)
- $15 will be taken from each person's security deposit per month to cover snow removal,
garbage removal, and lawn care.To determine the average monthly rental costs for each apartment, simply add together the summer rent, fall semester rent, and spring semester rent. This will determine the yearly rent per person. Then divide this number by 12 for the number of months in a year. Even though you will be paying by the semester, this will give you the average monthly cost so that you can compare our rates with the rates of other rental companies.
For example, If the apartment is listed as $2,600 per semester:
$2,600 (Fall semester rent) + $2,600 (Spring semester rent) + $500 (Summer rent)
= $5,700 (Total rent due) / 12 (# of months in year)
= $475 Average monthly cost per person
