Refrigerator Return Information
1. Please check the pick up schedule for the return date, time and place. Be sure to check that the truck is at the assigned place prior to carrying the unit out of your residence hall.
2. Bring the clean, defrosted unit to our truck at the specified time. You, your roommate, or a friend may bring the unit out to the truck. Failure to come out to the truck or to clean the unit thoroughly will result in the loss of your security deposit. Bring all shelves and ice trays that came with the unit out with you. If you need assistance with a Microfridge, you or your roommate should come out to the truck without the unit and we will accompany you back to the room to assist you getting the unit down to the truck.
3. We will give you your security deposit check and a receipt with our firm name imprinted. In addition, you must sign the receiving book at the truck that is our proof that you returned the unit. Failure to obtain and save the receipt and sign the book at the truck may result in your being charged for the unit.
4. Refrigerators not returned to us on the return date may have to be shipped to our Oneonta NY warehouse by you at your expense. Avoid this problem and return the unit on time !
5. Check and make sure we have your address correct. If not, call 1-607-431-9525 on any friday.
6. Save your return
card. Lightly tape it to the door on your refrigerator. It contains important
information for you and for our company. If it is not taped to the front of your
refrigerator you may forfeit your deposit. Please do this now so you don't forget.
7. Many students order
a unit now for next year. To order one now enter your new dorm and room # on the front of
this card in the space provided. We will apply your deposit to next years rental. Please
remember to tape this card to your refrigerator door now!
8. You may return your
refrigerator at a different residence hall if you have moved.
9. If you have a
problem with the time contact our office and we will try to make other arrangements. If
you fail to contact us at least 3 days in advance, and you do not return unit on scheduled
date, you will forfeit your deposit.
10. Charges for failure
to return unit are as follows: MicroFridge $500; Counter High $180; Cube $100; Shelf $15;
Ice Tray $2; Drip Tray $10; Glass $15. MicroFridge Scraper $10.
Not all units are equipped with all parts mentioned. It is noted on your contract what was
in unit.
