in 1972 at the State University of New York College at Oneonta, the Refrigerator
Leasing Company, Inc. now delivers
MicroFridges, Refrigerators, and Electronic Safes to over 25 colleges in New
York and Massachusetts. We are the longest continually operating
refrigerator rental agency in the country.
Our company is still based in Oneonta, NY. This Central New York location provides easy access to the major state highways. With colleges and universities in all corners of New York and into Massachusetts, no school is too far or out of the way.
We have 15 full time employees that work to schedule deliveries, take orders, service and clean our products, and help customers when we are on campus. A number of these employees have been with us for 10 years or more; providing a stable and knowledgeable workforce that can help with all facets of our operation. In our busiest seasons (delivery and pick-up), we add family and friends to help with the extra workload. Many of these extra people have also been helping us for a number of years.
For our on-campus delivery and pick-up, we find central locations convenient for students. Our initial delivery dates are scheduled to coincide with the beginning of fall semester classes. We usually return for a second delivery date within 2 weeks of the first delivery. We return to each school as orders and service needs dictate.
